The Boathouse Restaurant in Dedham is known to many locals and visitors as the place to hire a rowing boat or enjoy an ice cream down by the river, but there have been quite a few changes since Cameron & Claire Marshall bought the business in March 2002.
Literally on the banks of the River Stour, this is "Constable Country", with superb scenery and views coupled with an ambiance of tranquillity and calm that lends itself perfectly to intimate dining.
During the warmer months, you can enjoy a drink on the patio overlooking the river and just enjoy watching the World go by while Cameron and the team begin to prepare your meal.
The staff are attentive yet not intrusive and will ensure you are well looked after during your visit to the Boathouse Restaurant.

Cameron and his kitchen brigade produce a fusion of style and flavours with items on the menu changing every 6-8 weeks, while Claire and her ‘front of house’ team endeavour to serve good food & drink with efficient friendly service.
