Standing on the Old Tilbury Road, The Olde Dog Inn at Herongate-Tye is a picturesque traditional Essex weather-boarded Inn. It has been welcoming patrons for hundreds of years with the main building believed to date from the early 16th Century.

Head Chef Melvin Renouf and his team are able to offer a varied selection of food with influences from all over the world, all of which is made freshly on the premises and sourced, wherever possible; from local suppliers and producers.
Because of the constantly changing menu; Chalkboards are used throughout the dining area’s. A selection of (daily delivered) fresh fish is always available, and all dietary needs are catered for. A lighter menu is also available at lunchtimes featuring traditional Ploughman’s and freshly made sandwiches.
On Sundays, in addition; Traditional Roast Dinners are also served.
The pub also offers various one off menu’s throughout the year such as specialist fish nights, Valentines menu’s and Mothering Sunday Lunch.
